With a unique 42ft mobile pantech workshop equipped with a lathe, mill, specialised tooling and air-conditioned site office, Mecha is able to offer an unparalleled service for turnarounds and shutdowns. The mobile workshop saves time and money, enabling any machining, metal work or repairs to be completed on the client site.
Our ABB IRB 4400L articulated robot is the centre point of our R&D division. Our in house capability allows initial design and proof of concept trials with our team of automation specialists, or alternatively we can work onsite at client premises.
Our success so far has been in projects which remove the need for highly repetitive manual handling, increasing the efficiency of plant operations and reducing the risk of injury to operators.
Mecha is proud to now offer our own dedicated spray & blast booths. Operated by our qualified industrial, marine and automotive sand blasting and paint technician, we offer a fully enclosed, grit recycling blast booth. Our paint booth includes the Valspar TB 520/540 2pac industrial mix system, with the ability to paint to micron specifications. We also work with the following paint brands: Jotun, Wattyl, Dulux, International, Hempel & PPG.
The Mecha project team has extensive experience with the refurbishment and repair of industrial boilers as well as implementation of statutory annual inspections in line with Australian regulations.
